In the five years since the Chicago-native released his debut album, Food and Liquor, Lupe Fiasco has celebrated commercial and artistic success while aiming to self-empower and relate to his fans. Fiasco's most successful album to date, Lasers, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200, R&B and Rap charts with his March 2011 release. The album also contains Fiasco's biggest hit, "The Show Goes On," an inspirational song to kids growing up around the world, proving with his own success that even if their upbringing is difficult, anything is possible. "The Show Goes On" also shows the alternative side of Fiasco's style, featuring a sample of indie rock band Modest Mouse's hit, "Float On."
Also scheduled to perform are California hip-hop duo The New Boyz who have produced radio-friendly hits such as "You're a Jerk," "Backseat" and "You Look Better with the Lights Off" featuring Chris Brown.
