HIP HOP ARTISTS T.I. AND LUDACRIS UNITE TO LEAVE A ‘PAPER TRAIL’ AT CHAIFETZ ARENA AT SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19
(St. Louis, MO – January 15, 2009) Award-winning rappers T.I. and Ludacris converge for one evening of intensity when they perform at the new Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University on Thursday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m.

T.I. heads into the New Year with four Grammy nominations including Best Rap Album for Paper Trail and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for “Swagga Like Us” and “Wish You Would.” The release of Paper Trail further cemented T.I.’s legacy which was his third album in as many years to peak at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Throughout his career, T.I. has recorded three Top 3 singles, “What You Know,” “Whatever You Like,” and “Live Your Life.” His collaborations have included Justin Timberlake’s “My Love” and “Soldier” with Destiny’s Child, both of which were Top 3 singles.
The February 19th show marks one of the last T.I. performances in the near future as he is scheduled to serve a year sentence beginning in March for firearms possession charges. T.I. has already completed 1,000 community service hours which were also part of his sentence and according to MTV, will strategize his comeback while in jail.
Ludacris is a three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper and the highest-selling Southern hip hop artist of all time selling over 15 million albums in the United States. With his stunning mix of incredible rhymes and out-there sense of humor, Ludacris has released six solo studio albums, five of which have peaked in the Top 5 of Billboard 200 chart. He’s had six Top 10 Billboard singles with “Move Bitch,” “Stand Up,” “Splash Waterfalls,” “Pimpin’ All Over the World,” “Money Maker,” and “Runaway Love.” He has also collaborated with Mariah Carey (“Loverboy”), Chingy (“Holidae Inn”), Usher (“Yeah”), Lil Jon (“Lovers & Friends”), Ciara (“Oh”) and Fergie (“Glamorous”) which have all been Top 10 Billboard hits as well.
